How verification works

  1. Submit the form with the owner email for the shop. That email is required — it is where verification lives.
  2. Check that inbox. We send a confirmation email with a verification link to the owner email you give us. Clicking it proves the inbox — and the shop contact — are really yours.
  3. We review your proof of ownership (a note in the form about how you can prove the shop is yours: a utility bill, business license, or the shop phone number, for example).
  4. Badge on. Once the email is verified and proof checks out, your listing is marked verified and the page controls unlock.

A listing stays unverified until the confirmation email is clicked. Claims that never verify never gain control of a page — that is the protection working as intended.
